Dinamika Ekonomi dan Politik dalam Pusaran Korupsi Indonesia

Abstract

Corruption is a major challenge, especially in developing countries, which has a significant impact on the economy and politics. In Indonesia, this corruption problem has long occurred with one of the important points being the establishment of the Corruption Eradication Commission, and currently the independence of the Corruption Eradication Commission is actually decreasing. This article draws one formulation of the problem, namely how are the dynamics of the economy and politics in the grip of corruption in Indonesia? Through empirical research methods and theoretical approaches. The results of this analysis indicate that corruption has a very negative impact on the Indonesian economy and politics, damaging the economic structure, exacerbating social inequality, and weakening democracy and public trust. To overcome this, laws such as the Corruption Eradication Law, the State Finance Law, and the Election Law are important in creating a transparent and accountable government. Strengthening the mechanism for preventing and eradicating corruption is concluded to be able to improve economic and political conditions, as well as provide greater benefits to society.
